Leanne & Stephen Explore Agrarian Chic with their Edmonton Wedding Photographer

Leanne and Stephen craved a wedding that was intimate, sincere, and most importantly, in the country.

Held at the groom's farm in Pickardville, Alberta, Leanne and Stephen were betrothed at an outdoor ceremony, surrounded by their friends and family. The bride and groom had a strong personal connection with the land, as it was where the groom was raised and the bride was proposed to.

The farm offered no shortage for picture locations, and Leanne & Stephen enjoyed exploring the landscape with their photographers. From dusty dirt roads, to swing sets, horse stables to the very wheat field where Stephen asked for Leanne's hand, each location served as a beautiful backdrop.

The affable coupled endured heat and intense sun with no complaint...they were a joy to work with!

Congratulations Leanne & Stephen on a beautiful wedding!

Nicole & Curtis Celebrate their Engagement with their Edmonton Wedding Photographer

What could be more perfect for a young couple so completely in love?

Nicole and Curtis are a young, cosmopolitan couple, so using the Whyte Ave area in Edmonton as the stage for their engagement photos was the de facto choice.

Nicole and Curtis are a fantastic couple to work with, as they are a super sweet couple so obviously in love. Fresh from their engagement, Nicole was giddy and elated throughout the entire photo session. Combine that with beautiful autumn colours, great light, and genuine emotions and you have engagement photos that conjure envy.

Shooting in fall also worked well for the couple, as they plan their wedding for March. Fall images definitely contrast spring ones, so Nicole and Curtis will have a plethora of varied photographs!

Congratulations Nicole and Curtis on your engagement! Good luck with all the wedding preparations!

Heather & Ricy Sikh and Find with their Edmonton Wedding Photographer

Heather and Ricky had a marriage ceremony as modern and unique as the bride and groom themselves.

Heather and Ricky tied the knot twice, with each ceremony representing the bride or grooms ethnicity. The first ceremony was at Gurdwara in a traditional Sikh ceremony. Half Italian and half Filipino, Heather warmly embraced the splendid Sikh wedding sari with jewelled accessories, but also added her own flare to the outfit by changing the colors. Ricky looked handsome in the traditional Sikh outfit and carried a sword that has been in his family for generations. With all this tradition, The couple decided to use the urban downtown Calgary as the backdrop for their wedding photos to juxtapose their traditional costumes. City Hall in downtown Calgary provided the necessary architecture and backdrops.

On the second day, Heather and Ricky's loved ones witnessed a beautiful Catholic ceremony with the Filipino tradition of literally tying the knot and putting a veil over the couple. Heather looked breathtaking in a form fitting mermaid Maggie Sottero dress. Pictures were then taken at the historical Stephen Avenue Walk, in the heart of Downtown Calgary. Not to be outdone be the gorgeous ceremonies that preceded it, Heather and Ricky's reception was one of the best parties in years. With 700 people in attendance, the dance floor was something straight out of a Bollywood movie. Live drum players added to the ambiance, and had everyone exploding with energy and doin' their Bollywood thing... especially Ricky's dad.

BIG thanks to the bride and groom and to their wonderfully friendly and patient bridal party.

Nela and Devin lucked out on their wedding day!

Stunning bride? Check. Picture perfect weather? Check. Gorgeous bride? Check. Throw in a beautiful location and a talented photographer, and you have wedding photos that turn heads and evoke envy.

Nela and Devin chose to have their portraits taken at Elk Island National Park, and their choice worked well for them. Nela's bridesmaids looked lovely being photographed in lipstick red dresses while surrounded by a vibrant and green forest. Not to be outdone, Nela looked like a contemporary Snow White in the forest. Her trademark tiara helped complete the look as she elegantly strolled through the park.

Congratulations Nela & Devin on a beautiful wedding!

Jamie & Troy Celebrate with their Edmonton Wedding Photographer

Jamie and Troy were married at a beautiful ceremony in Edmonton, Alberta. Shortly following the ceremony, the couple, along with their bridal party, had their pictures taken at the Alberta Legislative grounds.

Being a fun, young and energetic couple made for an entertaining day and lively photos. Jamie and Troy preferred more modern, fun photos, and their photographer delivered. With the reception at the Golden Rice Bowl, Jamie and Troy's photographer was able to take advantage of a good location and fun guests.

Thanks for letting us being part of your special day!
