A Japanese Garden in Edmonton Makes the Perfect Wedding Location for Amanda, Marc, and Their Photographer

With whimsical Japanese umbrellas to perfectly accentuate a Japanese garden, Amanda married Marc on a beautiful summer's day in Edmonton.

Theirs was a smaller ceremony and reception, lending an intimate and sincere flavour to their nuptials. The cozy bridal party allowed their photographer to try a multitude of locations throughout the Devonian Botanical Gardens. The brides' and bridesmaid's bouquets looked lovely when photographed in an area so abundant with green flora. The elegant and feminine look of their dresses complimented their surroundings with breathtaking harmony.

Having a smaller bridal party meant that Amanda and Marc's wedding photographer could focus a lot of time on formal portraits of the bride and groom. With the summer light ever changing throughout the course of the day, their photographer was able to create gorgeous and evocative photographs. With varying light and locations used in their photo session, Amanda and Marc have photographs that range from sweetly romantic to energetic, spontaneous to decorous.

Congratulations Amanda and Marc!

Lindsay & Justin Brighten Government House With Their Edmonton Wedding Photographer

With equal parts of great humour and fun, Lindsay and Justin were married with a beautiful ceremony in Edmonton. Formal portraits of the couple, along with a plenitude of bridesmaids and groomsmen, were taken at the Royal Alberta Museums Government House. The bright, sunny day not only fit the mood of the newly married couple, but it made the colours of Lindsay's bouquet and her bridesmaids dresses pop!

Lindsay and Justin own a framing studio in Edmonton, so they had a great creative eye and knew what wedding photos they wanted. Combine that with a creative photographer and a stunning setting and you have photos worthy of Lindsay and Justin's frames.

These newlyweds were an energetic and engaging couple, that had their wedding photographer ride along with them in their limo for intimate, candid shots of their bridal party. Combine that with a handsome groom, lovely bride, and an outpouring of creativity, and you have an absolute idyllic wedding!
Congratulations Lindsay and Justin on a beautiful wedding!

Shayna & Kurt Make Cinderella Jealous With Their Edmonton Wedding Photographer

With a ceremony that could have easily been ripped from the pages of a fairytale, Shayna and Kurt, along with their darling daughter Eva, were married at the Lily Lake Resort.

It was a stunning ceremony, held outdoors, on the beautiful grounds of the Lily Lake Resort. Every detail was reminiscent of the romantic era. Shayna's dress resembled that of an elaborate ballgown, complete with a crown of soft curls. Eva, the flower girl and daughter of the couple, was not forgotten as she looked charming in her flower girl dress. To complete their fairy tale, Shayna and Kurt were whisked away in a horse drawn carriage.

Their photographer used the natural landscaping at the resort, along with timeless architecture to achieve a varied and unique photo session. The gorgeous couple looked amazing as they were photographed, and easily could be on the cover of Bride's magazine.

Congratulations, Shayna and Kurt, on your beautiful new family!

Jack and Jackline Enjoy Their Day with Their Edmonton Wedding Photographer

Jack and Jackline were an exquisite couple on their wedding day in Edmonton, Alberta. Following an intimate ceremony, pictures were done at various locations around the Royal Alberta Museum and the Country Lodge.

The sweet newlyweds didn't let the intense heat of their wedding day slow them down. Photos were taken at the Government House by the Alberta Museum, along with various other spots found in the river valley. At the Country Lodge, a field of canola and a vivid blue sky were used as a dramatic backdrop to many photos featuring the gorgeous bride and groom.

In between a cozy yet energetic reception, Jack and Jackline's photographers were able to take advantage of the lovely green space and beautiful evening light at the Country Cabin. This was a beautiful setting for intimate portraits of the bride and groom amidst the celebratory ambiance on their wedding evening.

We would like to congratulate Jack & Jackline on a beautiful wedding!

Edmonton Wedding Photographer uses Downtown Location for Natalie & Francis

This was an adventerous couple that wanted their wedding photos to deviate from the norm. Embracing their urban lifestyle, their wedding photographer used downtown Edmonton as an amazing backdrop for their photos.

Their bold style, along with that of their photographers, were great to experiment with in such avant garde locales such as subway stations and train tracks.

Natalie's amazing dress and stunning bouquet juxtaposed the modern, urban landscape she was being shot in. Combined together, a unique and unusual aesthetic was created. The couple was pleased to know they would have photos unlike everyone else!

Thank you Natalie & Francis for making us part of your special day!

Thao and David Celebrate with their Edmonton Wedding Photographer

It took two days and three photographers to capture the vibrancy of this spectacular traditional Vietnamese wedding ceremony. Thao and David looked stunning at their photo session in the Devonian Botanical Gardens on the first day. Despite the heat, the positive and upbeat couple remained as beautiful as their surroundings. Their Edmonton wedding photographer was able to capture special moments and create ethereal images.

Day two of the wedding ceremony began early in the morning with a tea ceremony performed at both houses of the bride and groom. Thao's mother was able to view the ceremony via Skype since she was unable to attend in person.

Thao proved herself worthy of Canada's Next Top Model when she changed outfits three times on the second day of the ceremony. To complete each look she elegantly matched her hair and makeup with each wardrobe change.

Thank you Thao David for letting us be part of your special day!
