Vara and Bryan (and a fire extinguisher) In Calgary
These two lovebirds had already gotten married in the spectacular Turks and Caicos but decided to hold their reception for friends and family back home in Canada. Vara and Bryan hired us to photograph their family and reception in their hometown Calgary.
Trevor and Nick had a lot of fun with the Bridal Party photos, which even included a photo session on a playground!
During the reception dinner, everything was going off without a hitch until one of the kids thought it would be fun to pull the safety pin on the fire extinguisher! Needless to say, the very expensive wedding cake - ruined; some wine and food - ruined; the hall partially covered in a white dust - Unforgettable!
Fortunately, the very capable reception staff responded to this potentially disastrous situation quickly and had the place cleaned up and ready to party in no time!
And what a party it was!

Alana and Sean, Sandals Grande Antigua
Of all the most beautiful places on earth, only Sandals Antigua has earned the title of "World's Most Romantic Resort." Set on breathtaking Dickenson Bay, the island's best and most famous beach, this resort truly lives up to its title. Many of the couple's guests were so impressed with this resort that they ended up booking their next year's holidays already!
Add Alana, a former model, and her handsome groom, Sean, and you've got a photographer's dream.
The outdoor ceremony was held in a shaded gazebo and finished just in time before the weather turned on us. It poured heavily for about ten minues but stopped just as abruptly. Brief showers are very common during Caribbean weddings and if you're lucky (Alana and Sean were) you can even get a rainbow on your wedding day! (which they did ;- ))
It was such a pleasure working with you both and congratulations!

Catherine and Aaron, Sherwood Park
Dear Instant Memories,
We want you to know that Curtis is the best photographer that every single person at our wedding had ever seen or met. He is so awesome. We had an outdoor winter wedding in the middle of January, and he was more than happy to show up early, in his winter gear, and take picture after picture outside!
He is very fun to be around. Aaron and I, and everyone else, felt very relaxed and confident with Curtis as our photographer. He went into deep snow just so he could get good angles to make all of our wedding day pictures perfect. Our special day turned out beautifully, and Curtis was there to capture and help us make our beautiful moments.
Thank you so much Curtis!!

Kerri and Adam in Mexico
Here are some photographs of Kerri and Adam's wedding the Mayan Riviera of Mexico. Many of us at Instant Memories Wedding Photography frequent the Mayan for weddings. As usual, Caribbean ocean was the perfect backdrop for Kerri and Adam's wedding day.
They stayed at the Paladium White Sands, a 5-star resort about 10 minutes from Playa Del Carmen. Their beach wedding ceremony was highlighted by excellent weather and a slight breeze which kept everyone cool while we photographed their formals.
The ceremony was at 3pm and started on time, which is a huge plus here in Mexico, so we had plenty of additional time to photograph at various locations throughout the mega resort.
As always it was a pleasure and a privilege to be chosen to photograph their special day and all of us at Instant Memories wedding photography wish them the best of luck.
